R/W Soloing Titans
I came up with an idea yesterday and wondered if it will work. Basically, by using Winter + Fur-Lined equipment in combination with some ranger stances, would it be possible to withstand the elemental barrage of Titans, while simultanously dealing out sufficient damage? Well I whipped up a (rather crappy) build, and tested it out. It wasn't too bad actually, I managed to eliminate a couple of groups before getting myself killed. I've since made a few improvements, here's my build thus far:
R/W
Apply Poison
Galrath Slash
Final Thrust
Troll Unguent
Melandru's Resiliance
Dryder's Defenses
Lightning Reflexes
Winter
It can handle groups of three Titans alright, if you can remember to renew Troll Unguent. Use Winter before the battle so it doesn't get attacked. Troll Unguent, Apply Poison and whack away. Keep a stance up at all times.
Note that there aren't any defenses against Wind Titans, which constantly spams Blinding Flash. Though it is possible to kill them by using Apply Poison and hoping one of your hits actually connect and thus degenning it to death, it's very inefficient. Subbing a skill with Antidote Signet doesn't quite work, due to the signet's long recharge time. You'll usually be re-blinded a few seconds after Antidote. I simply avoid groups with Wind Titans for now.
Hopefully these screenshots will entice you into improving this build.

glove1038: You need to have finished Hell's Precipice. If you've done that, go to Droknar's Forge and visit the Vision of Glint, who'll give you a series of Titan quests. Finish the first one (Mineral Springs), and Glint will give you Defend North Kryta Province, which will populate the area outside of Lion's Arch with level 28 Titans.

Stance Crimson Carapace Shield (5 Bleached Shells)
Stance sword (5 Bleached Carapaces)

I think it would work better if you used some energy skills instead of adrenal skills, as those are next to free with exp and all that regen from mels resilliance.
In other news, I was thinking it could be done better with another secondary, particularly ele, as previously mentioned, as it would rely more on spells, thus blind wouldnt be a problem.

I'm thinking about some energy-based attacks, but the question is, which ones?
- Pure Strike has too long a recharge
- Desperation Blow causes KD, which might be worth it, but it has a long recharge as well
- Thrill of Victory, long recharge and is situational
- Other attacks are linked to Strength
Seeking Blade/Wild Blow seems to be the only candidate that can replace Galrath Slash/Final Thrust. Wild Blow should be useful for disabling Wild Growth's Whirling Defense, so I'll definitely give that a try.
If you're talking about another secondary, well, that's another build completely. I'm using Warrior not just for the sword but for the shield as well, which provides me with damage reduction and health. If you've got some ideas for Ele (which I'm not familiar with), please post.

Alas, I am no elementalist master either, so I cannot offer any sage advice. I do dabble in the R/W profession quite a bit tho :P.
I was thinking more Axe oriented, since you are not using riposte, etc, that are sword reliant things, you could instead use an axe and get swift chop and cyclone axe. Bonus on cyclone axe cuz sometimes the titans are right next to eachother right?
Also, how do you have a stance up at all times? I tried this build, with a few changes, and had dryders, lightning, and whirling defense and i couldnt manage to. Do you kill them fast enough to stay under just those two stances?

Isnt the recharge on lightning 60 seconds and the recharge on dryders atleast 45, if not 60 seconds?

Lightning Reflexes' recharge is 45 seconds, Dryder's defense is 60 seconds.

Oath Shot
Just chage melrandus resiliance with oath shot. I use a build like this in PvP and it works like a charge.
R/N:
Oath Shot
Apply Poison
Whirling Defenses
Dryders
Plauge Touch
Troll
Skill of ur choice. (i guess winter)
Whirling and Dryders is all u basically need, just use Oath Shot to recharge ur stances. When blind use Plauge Touch to trasfer it over to the titans...Just gonna take practice knowing when to use Oath Shot.

use the constant stance slasher build? its posted on guildwiki, its meant for pvp but i guess u could apply it to this, ive wanted to find a soloing build for R/W anyways.
heres the pvp skill set, u can modify it for the titans
wild blow, seeking blade, disrupting chop (or savage slash), hamstring, lightening reflexes, whirling defense, escape, rez
you could take out some attributes in expertise, (i use this build alot in pvp and i never run out of energy) put it in wilderness survival, take out hamstring put in troll unguent, and take out disrupting chop and put in winter.
i dunno if it will work just tryna help
